Winter Festival of Lights opening ceremonies this Saturday

I may be no spring chicken, but I can honestly say that I don't remember a time before the Winter Festival of Lights. Now celebrating it's 27th season, Niagara's greatest holiday lights display will be kicking off this Saturday, November 7th.

Before they flip the switch there's going to be a big party to celebrate the 27th season in Victoria Park. Disney characters will perform, as well as the Festival of Lights Holiday Choir. Once they flip the switch, they'll mark the kick off of this year's lightstravaganza with a massive fireworks display. If you can't make the first event, a second stage performance followed by another fireworks display will take place at 7pm.
