See Pete Best, former Beatle, LIVE!

John, Paul, George and Ringo weren't the only Beatles. Back in the early days the line-up featured two other members -- the late great Stuart Sutcliffe and drummer Pete Best. And while Sutcliffe's exit from the band had more to do with the aneurysm that killed him than it did anything else, Mr. Best's untimely exit was the result of record producer George Martin's dislike of his drumming. Ringo was brought in as his replacement and the rest is history.

What might The Beatles have sounded like had Best continued with them? On September 12th you can find out, as Pete Best and the Pete Best Band will be performing a benefit concert at Hernder Winery. Tickets are $15, and all proceeds will be going to benefit SIDS Niagara.

Doors open at 7pm. Call 289.213.4347 or 905.684.3300 for tickets.
