Screening of Dario Argento's Deep Red @ the NAC

While the return of BUFS was something that our community could celebrate, we should be equally enamoured with the screenings being hosted by the NAC over these past few months. Obscure foreign classics like Bullet Ballet and Le Samourai have all made the rounds. Next week we can add Dario Argento's Deep Red to that ever expanding list.

From imdb;

A psychic who can read minds picks up the thoughts of a murderer in the audience and soon becomes a victim. An English pianist gets involved in solving the murders, but finds many of his avenues of inquiry cut off by new murders, and he begins to wonder how the murderer can track his movements so closely.

Sounds neat! Two of Argento's other works, Blow Out and Suspiria, have become staples of just about any film students diet. It should be interesting to check out one of his less well known works. The screening starts at 7pm next Friday, January 30th at the NAC building, 354 St. Paul St. As always, the event is pay-what-you-can.
