Rain Barrels now available from the City of Welland

Earlier this month we posted about a one-day rain barrel sale by the City of Thorold. Normally going for $150, these guys were available at a huge discount for only $30. The catch? You had to be a resident of Thorold.

But now it looks as though residents of Welland will be just as lucky. When I was visiting Welland City Hall the other day they had a few different models on display, and unlike in Thorold you can pick yours up at any time. Welland is selling theirs for $35 for the smaller model (the exact same as Thorold had), and I'm pretty sure you'll need to be a resident of Welland to pick one of these up.

Come on St. Catharines! Where's our rain barrel program??
