IlluminAqua lights up the Old Canal this Friday

luminaqua_0a.jpg

Over the past few years, Welland has really gotten their act together when it comes to fantastic services and events for the community. Illuminaqua, a fantastic marriage of fire and sound, has been a mainstay along the banks of the Welland River for some time now. As fire floats along the old canal, a live provides accompaniment to this beautiful and unique experience.

Admission is free, but you'll want to bring a blanket as you'll likely be parking your seat in the grass. The event will be taking place at the Merritt Park Amphitheatre, 115 King St. in Welland.

If you can't make it this Friday, don't worry. There are a number of other performances this summer. Check out the full event listing at illuminaqua.com.
