New Year's Eve can be a lot of fun for adults, but kids? It's never really been a holiday for them. The St. Catharines Public Library is looking to change that. On December 31st from 11am to noon, the library will be playing host to "Hello 2009!", a New Year's celebration for children aged 6-11.

Kids will learn about New Year's celebrations around the world, make time capsules, and have tons of fun with party hats and lei's.

The event will be taking place at both the Central and Grantham branches, and will be free of charge. Please register in advance to reserve your child's space by calling 905-688-6103, ext. 227.
