GO! Buses also on the way

gobus.gif

It was only a few days ago that word of GO! Tourism trains hitting Niagara first hit the airwaves. Tucked away in that announcement was the confirmation of another Niagara GO! project -- one that should have a more lasting impact then what is essentially a tourist shuttle on rails. From the St. Catharines Standard;

GO Bus commuter service from Burlington to Grimsby, St. Catharines and Niagara Falls should begin by September, with nine trips in each direction each weekday.

SWEET. Once you get to Burlington, you can easily hop on a GO! Train to anywhere the service serves. You know what this means? Easy commutes back and forth to Toronto are on their way. No more sitting on the 427 or getting stuck on the QEW when the Ford Plant let's out.

And the best part? GO! Transit is one of the greenest choices out there. They even have bike racks on the front of their buses.

More info as it's released.
