FlickrNiagara: The Brock Monument

It's been a long time since I've been to Queenston Heights. This photo really brings you back to those awe-inspiring moments of childhood when you first looked up at the tower. While it's size pales in comparison to buildings in even the most modest of downtown core, as a child it felt like nothing could be bigger.

The inside of the monument is currently closed to the public while repairs are underway. Still -- why not take a drive out to Queenston Heights and relive the majesty of your childhood?
