Flickr Niagara: Port Dahlousie, circa 1920's

port20s.jpg

Back in the first half of the 20th century Port Dalhousie was something of a tourist destination -- a real happening place where people went to have fun. Courtesy of Flickr user haunted snowfort we've been given a glimpse into that world, circa 1920. His great aunt Bessie is on the right, and might I say quite a looker.

One of the things I've always loved about Flickr is it's ability to act as a time capsule. It's a real shame that more people don't use it as such.
