Fifty Dead Men Walking at BUFS this week

Another Wednesday is slowly sneaking up on us, and you know what that means? Another BUFS presentation!

This week BUFS will be featuring the IRA drama Fifty Dead Men Walking. It's the true story of Martin McGartland, a young man from Belfast who while working as a spy for the British Police climbed the ranks of the Irish Republican Army.

As excited as we've been here at the St. Catharines City Guide about the return of BUFS, this is the first film that will actually get me out of the house and into the theatre. The screening will be taking place this Wednesday, February 4th 2009 at 7pm. The film will screen at the Empire 8 Cinemas in the Pen Centre. Cash and cheque only, as the BUFS box office is seperate from the Empire 8 box. Ticket can be purchased for $10 from 6pm-6:55pm.
