Fanboy Fridays @ Empire 8 - The Midnight Meat Train

The Empire 8 Cinemas in the Pen Centre is kicking off a brand new program this week with all proceeds going to the Kids Help Phone. Fanboy Fridays will occur on the last Friday of every month and feature a special midnight screening of an cult film for the low low price of $6.99. This months feature? The Midnight Meat Train.

Based on a short story by Clive Barker, The Midnight Meat Train is the story of a serial Killer (Vinnie Jones) who massacres the innocent riders on a late night subway. Definitely a perfect midnight flick for Halloween.

   Its great to see a program like this start up in St. Catharines as this city has seriously been deprived of some good cult films. All the more amazing is that the proceeds are actually helping a cause!
