Hot cars and mad fiddlers will be dotting the downtown landscape this Saturday as the 7th Annual Classic Car Show and 2nd Annual Fiddle Festival will be taking place side by side in the heart of St. Catharines on July 11th, 2009.

More than 400 classic vehicles will line St. Paul St. while custom rides like low-riders and sport compacts will fill up Queen St. Lot's of music and other events will be associated with this one, including a low-rider hop-off competition at 2:30pm on Queen.

The Fiddle Fest will be taking place in front of the Silver Spire Church at 366 St. Paul St. Fiddling and step-dancing competitions will be occurring throughout the day as the church hosts a BBQ for onlookers. Interested in signing up for the competitions? Visit Ryson's music store at 5 Court St.

And just remember -- lots of shops and eateries downtown would love for you to pay them a visit while downtown. There's even a chance of some great sidewalk shopping this Saturday, so keep your eyes peeled for some tremendous deals!
