BUFS screening tonight: The Pool

The darling of last year's Sundance Festival, the pool is set to make it's St. Catharines big screen debut tonight courtesy of the Brock University Film Society and Empire Theatres.

The Pool is the story of Venkatesh, a young roomboy in India who dreams of nothing more than getting into a fenced off pool in the yard of a wealthy family. With a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, you know this is bound to be good.

The screening will take place at 7pm at the Empire Theatres in the Pen Centre. Tickets are $10 at the door, with the BUFS box office opening at 6pm.
