BUFS Screening tonight: Ponyo

Tonight the Brock University Film Society has a very special family friendly presentation. Ponyo, the 8th Studio Ghibli film from acclaimed Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki, will be screened at 7pm. Adult tickets will be the usual $10, but children will be able to attend for the discounted price of $5.

Ponyo is the story of a young girl that lives under the sea, meets a human boy, and wants to become human too. Yep -- it's pretty much The Little Mermaid. that being said, it's a Miyazaki-san film, so you know it's going to be good.

Box office opens at 6pm. I'm so delighted BUFS is giving me the chance to take my daughter to such a magical film tonight!
