BUFS screening Rachel Getting Married this Wednesday

As we've been happy to report on more than one occasion, the Brock University Film Society is back! For their third screening of the season, the fine folks at BUFS have chosen to showcase the new Jonathan Demme picture Rachel Getting Married.

The plot involves a young woman (Anne Hathaway) getting out of rehab to attend her sisters wedding. From the trailer it's hard to tell where this one falls on the dark comedy/serious drama line. Regardless, it looks amazing.

The screening will be taking place this Wednesday, January 28th 2009 at 7pm. As usual, the film will screen at the Empire 8 Cinemas in the Pen Centre. Cash and cheque only, as the BUFS box office is seperate from the Empire 8 box. Ticket can be purchased for $10 from 6pm-6:55pm.
