Living in Southern Ontario, it's not too often that one has the chance to go to the rodeo. Beamsville is looking to change that. This weekend the Lincoln County Fairgrounds will play host to the first Beamsville Western Rodeo.

Featuring bull riding, steer wrestling, and hoedowns, the organizers are hoping to turn this into an annual tradition. Things kick off this Saturday at 2pm. For more information, including a full schedule of events, visit beamsvillewesternrodeo.com.

This event is a disgrace. Rodeos are cruel and anyone who gets a kick off watching a calf have it's neck snapped is deranged. Disgusting.
