One of Niagara's best kept secrets, those with a nose for our community's heritage will be delighted to spend a few days flipping through the digital photo collection of the Niagara Falls Public Library's Historic Niagara project.

Thousands of images that date back to the earliest days of photography capture the history of Niagara Falls in all it's many incarnations. Ever wonder what Clifton Hill looked like at the turn of the century? Or what the Skylon Tower looked like when it was under construction? It's all there in a never-ending series of amazing photographs.

If you're as fascinated with our areas history as I am, this is a site you'll visit over and over. Click here for a photo journey down memory lane.
