142nd Annual Niagara South Plowing Competition tomorrow

plowingmatch.jpg Niagara is proud to be planted firmly in the farm belt of Ontario, and that farm belt needs a lot of plowing. This weekend, the 142nd Annual Niagara South Plowing Match will get underway in Ridgeway, Ontario. The event claims to be the oldest of it's kind in the province, and at 142 years I'd have a hard time believing otherwise.

The competition is free for spectators (or $8 if you want to compete) and kicks off tomorrow morning at 10:30am on the farm of Ken Terreberry. The farm is located on Nigh Road between Point Abino Rd. and Cherry Hill Rd.
